June Skiing at Alta!

Last Thursday the Marshall youth headed up to Alta for a little classic corn spring skiing. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised by two or three inches of freshies from the Wednesday's storm.
After trekking up Lower Rustler, we decided to hit a little kicker someone had set up. I popped off a big floater 180, and decided that we had enough of the jump after almost losing the landing. Instead we proceeded down the cat track a little ways, and got some fresh turns (switch in my case).
While traversing back to Collins, we decided to hike up Wildcat to find a tree or other such jib. One petite sapling proved to be the feature of the day, but unfortunately it couldn't hold much weight, and tended to lean like a cholo once my skis touched it. Max and I hit it a few times, trying different angles, but the poor tree just wasn't limber enough to do much... Instead it turned out to be a nice bench for our tired tushes, and we enjoyed the rest of the bright spring day upon its branches.
