January is one amazing month. So far it has been passed away with skiing, hard work, and friends; three of my favorite things. Last weekend was Snowball, a school dance. I had so much fun rockin' the night away, dancing with some of my most favorite friends. This week also marks the end of the second quarter and first semester. My junior year already is slipping away, but it is nice to end the term feeling somewhat accomplished. Come Friday, I will be leaving Salt Lake for Denver, to go skiing with the Palmquists (my cousins). I have been looking forward to it ever since Christmas, when my mom announced that I would be going. Hanging out with the Palmys is always enjoyable, I can't wait to ski some classic Copper Mountain, and take loads of pictures. Another memorable (although somewhat sad) moment of January was sending Maxine, my sister, off to India. I was so pleased to see her discover an amazing opportunity such as this, and be able to grasp it. I will admit, I miss her so much, but I can't be too selfish, seeing as the people of India need her much more than I do... Check out her blog about her trip at: http://maxineinindia.blogspot.com/
Have a great January!
