today I fell in love

As I took my fleeted path along the white heavenly plains, tousled with metal structures and drinking fountains, I fell in love. There she was; staring me in the face, occupying my entire consciousness. I forced myself to continue on, but could not rip my eyes or mind off her. She is everywhere I go, she is everything I am. Her eyes, that burn brighter than Sapphire, watch all from above. Her free spirit pushes me onward, racing for an unknown finish. She encourages me to live in the moment, be all that I can be. I am not alone, her list of beneficiaries excludes no one. Not everyone realizes her value, nor completely do I. But it is something I strive for. Who is she? Life. LOVE LIFE LIVE LIFE BE LIFE!

Happy New Year Everyone! While on my run today, and skiing throughout the break, I have had a lot of time to simply live. It is a wonderful thing, to go about the world (or maybe just Utah), and find the beauty in simple activities and places. I was stunned by the majesty that are the mountains, snow, and sky; especially when they come together. This next year I want to focus on these simple beauties, along with many other components of life. These may include, but are not limited to running (competitively and simply), skiing, scholastic, and most importantly reaching out to others where ever I may find myself.
