Ogden really is not as gloomy as this image would suggest. On the contrary it is a very entertaining place, especially with the introduction of the Salomon Center.
How dare you call yourself a citizen of Salt Lake County?
Traditionally (read - back before the Wasatch Front grew so big and when Ogden was a railroad town), Salt Lake and Ogden were rivals, and nobody from Down Here had anything nice to say about anybody from Up There. The argument began when Ogden started to grow from the railroad and people soon thought that it might actually become bigger, more important than Salt Lake.
As you can see, it didn't happen, but it's amazing what trivia you can dredge out of Utah history!
